The brake pads have passed the German TUV Rheinland certification, which includes tests for braking performance, wet and dry conditions, and heat resistance. Additionally, they have received the SGS certification, which verifies that the pads are asbestos-free.

Ensuring the safety of the user is a top priority, and the BR35 brake pads employ a highly stable adhesive to prevent the pads from separating from the backing plate. The BR35 brake pads come in two material options: sintered/metal and organic/resin. Each option offers distinct advantages and disadvantages for the user to consider.

They also have a higher heat resistance, up to 700°C. However, these pads require a longer break-in period and have a lower initial bite compared to the organic/resin pads.

On the other hand, the organic/resin brake pads provide excellent initial bite, making them easy to modulate, and they are quieter than the sintered/metal pads. They also have a lower wear rate on rotors. However, these pads have a shorter lifespan, ranging from 1,200 to 1,800 miles (tested in a laboratory), and they are not as well-suited for adverse weather conditions, such as wet or muddy environments.

Depending on the user's preferences and the specific riding conditions, both the sintered/metal and organic/resin brake pads offer unique advantages. The BR35 model caters to a wide range of users and riding scenarios, providing a tailored solution for their braking needs.
