Product Description: Compatible Disc Brake Types How to Choose Bike Disc Brake Pads? If you are unsure whether the pads are compatible with your brakes, please directly look at the shape of your original brake pads. If the shape is the same as the original brake pad shape, you can use it.

Resin and semi-metallic pads are suitable for lighter weight riders and riding in areas where heavy braking is not required, such as cross-country and riding in flatter areas. These pads offer a large amount of initial grab and are much quieter. However, they wear out quicker and should not be used in muddy, wet, or very dusty conditions.

Metal pads and sintered copper-based pads are better for heavier riders. These pads are recommended for riding in wet, muddy, or dusty conditions. Although they are more noisy and do not have as much of an initial bite as organic pads, they offer increased performance.

Bicycle Disc Brake pads too thick to fit? If the brake pads are too thick to fit, it may be caused by two problems: 1. If your brakes have been used for a long time, the clearance may become smaller due to the brake fluid or the brake cylinder, preventing installation. 2. The thickness of the brake pad may deviate from the normal tolerance range, which is rare.

The solution: Recalibrate the brakes or grind off a little bit of the brake pad surface.

They also have low disk wear and a comfortable braking feel, with smooth braking that provides predictable and progressive power.
